Acceptance

Still in the middle of my parents’ wedding preparations, though I also had a very enjoyable birthday.  My sister and I made 14 plant pot covers out of plastic pots and crepe paper! Also, we went out for a celebratory lunch (two birthdays, one wedding, and one graduation – see us multitask!) and the day before my sister took me to see Wicked, which we arrived at with quite iterally two minutes to spare; they were giving the two minute warning as we walked in. Today’s plans include cooking 100 chicken legs.

Anyway, woke up this morning to a slightly belated birthday treat; Drollerie have accepted Seeds! 🙂 I love their books, so I’m thrilled by this. There was a point where I never thought I’d find a suitable ending for ‘plantbaby’, let alone see it published.

It is another kick up the rear to remind me about getting an ITIN sorted. I’m trying to decide between going to the IRS office in London in person, or risking sending my passport out by post. I doubt they’re open at weekends, and it’s too late to really book any more time off work this month. But, oh, my passport! Not that I can do anything either way until I’m back in York. It’s going to be a busy week. But a good one! 🙂
