Schreient

Schreient comes from the German, Schreiend, meaning Loud, Garish or Flagrant according to my German dictionary, though most people claim it means 'screaming'. Well, 'schrei' means scream, so I can see where that comes from. They're a pretty cheerful bunch of women, for the most part, considerably less angsty than Weiss or Schwarz. Probably a side-effect of being nuts and working for a mad scientist who must have done some kind of experiment on the lot of them, because, hell, Hirofumi's better looking than Masafumi. He couldn't get this kind of devotion from his 'beautiful dolls' without a bit of help.

Codename meaning: Light

Height: 179cm (taller than Farf)

Past: Possibly met Masafumi at college, and has been his devoted lab assistant ever since. Also was in the Japanese Self-Defense Forces. Pretty much leads Schreient, as the sanest of the lot of them.

Name: Kitaura Karen

Age: 24

Weapon of Choice: Whip

Codename meaning: Beauty

Height: 170cm

Past: She used to be a super-model, but something happened (irritatingly vague, I know) and she had to be 'rescued' by Masafumi. I guess, since he's working on eternal life and the lot, she's keen on hanging around to keep an eye out for eternal youth. She's absolutely fixated on her looks, which isn't good if you spend your time in battle with various other assassins. Anyway, like the rest of them she loves their insane little master, and is eternally grateful to him.

Name: Murase Asuka (I think it is eventually established that she was Asuka, correct me if I'm wrong)

Age: 22

Weapon of Choice: disc-shaped Shiruken, hands (martial arts)

Codename meaning: New

Height: 170cm

Past: During a job with Yohji, he gets shot. He tells Asuka to go on ahead, and damned if Asuka doesn't get shot too. Well, Yohji survives, and the general assumption is that Asuka doesn't. Right until he rips Neu's mask off and ,huh, now that's a similarity on the scale of Sakura/Aya-chan. During the series she pretends to recover her memories as Asuka, but dies screaming that she loves Masafumi. Overall, probably the biggest bitch out of everyone in Schreient. Really don't like her much.

Name: Hibino Nanami

Age: 17

Weapon of Choice: Umbrella. Don't ask.

Codename meaning: Dead (I know, I wanted it to be 'child' as well)

Height: 160cm

Past: Her real father was a 'bad man', so she calls Masafumi 'papa' instead. She acts like a child, which implies regression - her life has sucked, for the most part, so she's regressed to a place before it sucked. So she's not a happy bunny, as evidences by the stuffed bunny she talks to. Ends up with Nagi for a bit, which is sweet, and doesn't die when everyone thinks she has.
