The Times is now behind a paywall, so that’s the last of their culture section well see for a while. I like the paper reasonably well, but not enough to pay for it when I get most of my news from the BBC and most of my culture from the Guardian (sexed up Anne Frank novel)  and the Independent (this summer: Vampires!). Well, it’s in the culture pages…

Publishing: The 11 Greatest Literature Feuds from the Daily Beast. Check out the slideshow too. New, uber fast bookscanner revealed. Considering a lot of pirated books are scanned in, publishers probably aren’t cheering this latest technological development.

Interest Piquing: This day in Tech, from Wired.net. Can’t believe I didn’t know about this until now. Also, the NY Times isn’t behind a paywall, so enjoy an article on anosognosia, or unknown unknowns. To be honest, I found the first article most interesting; some of the later articles step away from the social implications to look at famous medical case studies.

InsPiring: The best vacation ever – apparently it’s all about quantity and variety. As someone who rarely takes holidays, it’s always good to know I’m doing myself a disservice!

Procrastintion: Hyperbole and a Half. I was reading it before it got facebook famous, honest. Though it completely deserves its facebook fame.
