Picnics in the park

A/N: I can offer no explanation for this. It’s just utterly random. ^_^

Disclaimers: I don’t own Weiss, nor am I making any money from this.

Ken

Ken beamed at the children. “So, which first? Food or soccer?”

“Food!” “Soccer!” and various other suggestions were called out. “Both!” one enterprising child yelled.

“It’s picnic time!” Ken decided, pleased that he’d decided to treat his soccer kids to a day in the park like this. They fell upon the crisps and sweets with reckless abandon, not caring that they’d be too stuffed to play soccer later. Flavourings and colourings and preservatives, oh my! Ludicrously coloured drinks and sugary snacks disappeared down hungry gullets, Ken’s most definitely among them.

Omi

“Right, class, you may eat now!” the teacher called over the babble of bored teenagers making their own entertainment.

Omi sat with a group of boys from his history class and dutifully consumed his sandwiches and bottled water. Squeals from another group indicated that one of the girl’s had discovered a bug and was overreacting. Another group of boys started to play a cruel game of catch with a younger students lunch box. Teenagers gossiped and chattered and sunbathed in the park, spreading out until the teachers had to admit defeat and gave up trying to keep them together.

Omi smirked up at the cloudless sky. He doubted he was the only one who couldn’t remember the reason behind this field trip.

Yohji

Yohji poured the champagne into a fluted glass and held it up to the woman next to him. “To a beautiful day with a beautiful woman,” he intoned solemnly. The European exchange student giggled and clinked her glass against his, sealing the toast.

They sat surrounded by caviar and smoked salmon and various other ‘romantic’ seafoods. All finger food, naturally, so Yohji could feed her and vice-versa. Maybe it wasn’t traditionally romantic in Japan, but Yohji had done his research. Tipping an oyster down her throat he stifled a chuckle. And the Europeans thought sushi was disgusting?

Aya

Aya didn’t go on picnics. He stayed home and brooded and occasionally visited his sister instead. Didn’t know what he was missing out on.
